Science Park II’s Capricorn
building receives special recognition in the specialised category
in the prestigious FIABCI Prix d’Excellence 2003, the
“Oscars” of the international real estate industry.
The building also scored 80.9 points under the Singapore Building
and Construction Authority (BCA)'s Construction Quality Assessment
System (CONQUAS), which accords recognition to local construction
projects that have demonstrated the highest standards of construction
excellence. |

Ascendas Real Estate Investment
Trust (A-REIT) is listed on the Singapore Exchange as Singapore's
first business and industrial property trust. The four multi-tenanted
Science Park buildings in the A-REIT portfolio are the Alpha,
Gemini, Aries and Capricorn.

Under the National Parks
Board “Adopt-A-Park” scheme, Ascendas and the National
University of Singapore (NUS) jointly adopts Kent Ridge Park,
a 47-hectare public park located adjacent to Singapore Science
Park and NUS. This is the first adoption of a public park by
both Ascendas and NUS, attesting to their commitment to responsible
corporate citizenship and contribution to natural heritage conservation.
